★彡 The best part of Bioshock Infinite is Elizabeth. I’m so close to the end. I hope nothing happens to her. 😦
☆彡 Sorry about the E3 spam. E3 is practically a holiday to me, so I tend to get pretty excited about it…assuming it goes well. I’d say it went well this year. I’m sure everyone in the gaming world has heard about the mess that was the Microsoft conference by now, so I don’t have to get into that. I will say that Sony, Nintendo, Square-Enix, and a few other companies will be cleaning out my wallet this year. I’m not even slightly upset about that.
★彡 If all goes according to plan, Mark and I may get a 3DS next week. We’ve been picking up extra hours here and there in hopes of getting at least one for the both of us to share. I’m getting mine in pink…and I plan to make it look like this DS:
Or this DS:
So I hope he doesn’t mind.
☆彡 It is so great to have a cat during the summer seasons. The moment he sees a bug–even an ant–he kills it. Cats are the best exterminators. You only have to pay them in food and pettings then they keep your house critter-less.
★彡 Team Teamwork gives me life. I’m also listening to Chrono Jigga (from 2 Mello) right now, and it is sick. Hip hop should always be mixed with video game music. It is a perfect match.
☆彡 I found Sansa annoying at first, but now I wish that she was that annoying character at the start of the series again. I wish she had the luxury of being overdramatic and giggling about boys and being spoiled. Now, no matter what Sansa does, her innocence is nonexistent. But I guess the same can be said for all the Stark children. They all had to become adults long before their time…and it’s pretty sad to witness.
★彡 Mental illnesses diagnosed during childhood or adolescence do not just disappear over time. Especially if left untreated, they become worse. I don’t know why so many believe that a child/teenager diagnosed with a mental illness (or mental illnesses) leaves it behind like an old toy or something. They may learn to handle it better, but it sure as hell isn’t gone.
☆彡 Peppermint tea is the steaming nectar of the gods.
★彡 The Bluths are horrible human beings but they are hilarious. I’m so glad Arrested Development made a comeback. Now I just have to wait for the movie.
☆彡 I am happy with Sazh. The fact that he is a black man trying to save his son really made me happy since the stereotype of black men is that they tend to abandon their kids. Furthermore, despite his clumsiness, Sazh is actually very intelligent. He’s also very upright and honorable. Even after learning that Vanille was responsible for the most important person in his life being harmed, he forgave her and continued protecting her. That is admirable! Even though I don’t use him much in battle, Sazh is still one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters. I really want to see him again in Lighting Returns with Dajh at his side. Yeah, that would be awesome.
★彡 If I have to constantly explain my sense of humor and reasoning for my decisions to you then we are not going to hit it off. It’s honestly pointless to sit around and answer all these questions just so you could study me like some kind of specimen…only to end up annoying me by the time you do actually understand me and then I don’t want to be anywhere near you.
☆彡 Yeah, I’m pretty sure my new neighbors are drug dealers.
★彡 “Girls shouldn’t wear tight clothes because it’s distracting for boys” Um. I’ve seen men in jeans so tight that I could see the outline of their penises, yet…that’s not distracting? Really. If you think a woman can’t get distracted or aroused by looking at a guy in tight or revealing clothing then you are living in a fantasy world.
☆彡 *plays entire series on Netflix* *only really saw like one or two episodes* *restarts series*
★彡 Next weekend is going to suck. A lot. So, I plan to literally barricade myself in my apartment and have a marathon of some sort. Gaming marathon? Anime marathon? Netflix marathon? Reading marathon? All of the above? I don’t know yet. I’ll be fine. I just have to distract myself but I’ll be fine.
☆彡 I wasn’t too pleased with the season finale of Game of Thrones. It should have ended at the Red Wedding rather than have this really big event happen, and then follow it with a season finale where nothing really happened. Then there is the elephant in the room for some GoT fans: the blatant racism in Dany’s story. Every slave in the city had brown skin despite the fact that people of all backgrounds were slaves in the book. If you had shitty luck, you were enslaved. That was the gist of it. So why decide that only dark-skinned people were enslaved in the TV show? Include the whole: “Yay, let’s carry her around while calling her mother” thing and it all felt really ridiculous to me. It was such a disappointment compared to the last two seasons that ended with Dany doing something amazing. Believe me when I say that this is difficult to admit. I mean, look at my theme. I adore Dany and I adore the ASOIAF series even more, but the TV show makes some odd changes sometimes. Sometimes, more than odd. Just downright senseless. I guess we’ll just have to see how next season goes…next year. *disintegrates*
That’s all I really have for today. I’ll more than likely do a photo post once I get my 3DS–if I get my 3DS. *crosses fingers* There’s a thunderstorm going on, so I’m going to enjoy the fuck out of that. 😀
